Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance
Support Contract

The Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance Support Contract (BHASC) provides crucial 24/7 acquisition and assistance, operational, technical, and information support services to USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), which provides and coordinates international humanitarian assistance for the U.S. government. On average, BHA responds to 75 events in more than 70 countries each year, providing food, water, shelter, health care, and other critical aid to those who need it most. BHA’s efforts save lives, alleviate human suffering, and reduce the physical, social, and economic impact of rapid- and slow-onset disasters by supporting at-risk populations in building the stable foundations that can withstand humanitarian shocks and stresses.
